Mr Reeves loaves for Clin-tchureh on Departmental business about tho 10th inst. Hon. Mr Cadman is completing arrangements for the working of the Native Land Validation of Titles Act, passed last session, in order to deal with thoso matters for which the Edwards Commission was setup some years ago, but failed to settle. Additional rules required for the administration of the act are guzetted and will supplement the existing Native Land Court rul»s. A schedule of foe< h also gazetted effecting considerable reduction in the heavy charges hitherto enforced. The Minister for Labour is hurrying on the preliminaries of the State Form Scheme and will initiate tho scheme immediately :i suitablo farm is procured.
