Store cows, £3 3s to £3 6s ; Fat cows and heifers. £5 ids to £0 lis ; Dairy cows, £4 Is to £5 30s ; Draught horses, £7 to £15 ; Drays £9 to £10 ; Shaft harness £115s to £!3 ; Hacks £5 to £8 15s each.—AtOhaupo on Tuesday, November 22nd, the yards were filled with a good useful class of cattle, and although an extremely wet day, buyers were in attendance and all sold with exception of one pen youne cattle, which were a shade easier in price. Fresh cows and heifers, also grown steers, command ready sale, and buyers are still unsatisfied and I can place a large number at my next sale there on December 6th. Dairy cows were required and all sold at very satisfactory prices. Nut many beef, were yarded,' but were required and sold freoly. Very tew sheep panned. Prices were Dairy cows £4 7s to £5 ; Springing heifers £3 12s to £3 17 6d ; Yearling steers, £2 2s to £2 8s; mixed sexes £115s Cd to £2 ss; Heifer calves 30s to 33a; 2i and 3 years old Bteers, £4 12a to £5 5s ; 4 years old's, up to £G 12s 1J and 2 year old steers, £3 5s to £4 ; Store cows and heifers, £3 Is to £3 16s ; Cows and calves £317s to £5 4s ; Fat cows and heifers £4 to £0 14s ; Fat steers £6 14s to £7 7s fid ; six hoggets in wool 10s lOd each. POKT.—At the Haymarket during the past weak, meadow hay has brought from 2s 3d to 3s; oaten sheaves, 3s to 3s 9d ; straw, Is fidtheewt.; the maize now being received varies in quality, and prices have ranged from 2s 6d to 2s i)d ; oats 2* 6d the bushel; Waikato potatoes, 32-i 6d ton. Little's Bheep dip and woolpacks continue in brisk demand. On Friday, horse stock yarded in larger number than usual, fairly kept late values ; sound animnls add freely, inferior at low value?. Prices for strong, active draught were from £12 to £10; medium, £7 to £10 each; a waggonette brought £22 10s ; cart, £5; plough, £3. On Wednesday a special sale of horse stock from the West Coast, brought a large attendance. Strong animals suitable for coaching were eagerly competed for; prices for those ranged from £12 to £32; ponies and smaller horses from £5 to £9 each. On Tuesday hides were in moderate supply, kept their values ; ox hides ringed from 2'.( 1 to ; cow hide?, to 2}d ; calfskins" 3d to 5d the lb; rough fat, the lb ; tallow. 15s Gd to KioGd theewt fr.-sh sheepskins, 3s to 4s 7d ; station skin?, Is to 3s; lambskins, IHI to Is 3d each ; wool, in tags, 5J,d to (i^d; locks, l.jd to 3d ; pieces and locks, 4d and 4*d the lb. At Reumera, on Thursday, good dairy cows were required, and ranged from £5 5s to £0 12s fid ; medium and inferior at relatively Imv values, 45s and 05s each. Store cattle i old freely. Barren heifers. £3 12s fid; wo-and-a-half year steers, £4 17s 6d ; nine months calves, 3fc's each. Calves in usual supply, sold irregularly, but kept late values. F»t cattle in moderate number, ISO sold, were at late values. Steers, of fair t ■ good quality, were at 23s tho 1001b- Sheep in moderate number, 827 sold, fully kept late quotations. Shorn wethers ranged from 13-i to 15s !)d ; ewes, O-i fid to 14s fid; ewes in wool, los 3d to 17s 9d ; shorn hoggets, 10s to 153 each. Lambs in usual number, ?7G sold, were required. Store lambs brought hvm 4s 9d to (h ; fat lambs. 8s to 13s each. Pigs in short supply, 70 sold, were better woith. Weaners were from 7s to9s ; porkers, 18s to 30s each. Messrs Honter and Nolan's Report.— Horse feed, grain, seeds, &c. Thero has been a stir in the market for maize for shipment. Other lines have been in steady demand. The supply has been adequate. We quote : Maize on wharf, 2s 7d to 2s Bd, ex store 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; oats, 2s fid to 2s 8d per bushel ; bran, £4 per ton ; chaff, inferior. £2 10s, good, £4 to £4 53 per ton. Horses : There has been a steady demand, and good supply at the previous week's values. Again a largo number were submitted by auction at the Durham Yards on Friday. Competition was brisk throughout the sale, and almost without exception lots werß cleared. We quote : Hacks, £4 10s to £11; light harness and medium draught, £5 10s to £1G; heavy draught, £12 10s to £20; a colt and filly from Pukekohe made £40. Wool, hides, skins : Very little wool was offered on Tuesday, as it is being held for the first of the series sales on the 7th prox. Bags sold at from 4d to Gid per lb; pieces, 2d to 3Jd. Smaller quantities than usual r f hides and skins were pitched. The demand was good Wo quote -.—Hides ; Medium to stout, 3d to 4id per lb ; stoer and cow, I'fd to 2id ; kip," 2?. d ; calfskins, 3d to 4Jd per lb. Bones. £4 to £4 5s per ton ; tallow, 15s to ISs fid per cwt ; sheepskins, 2s Gd to 4s 9d each ; pelts and dry skins, Gd to 2s 3d each. Cattle : The supply has not been large, but steady demand has existed. Prices were slightly in favour of the purchaser. Steers sold from 22s to 25s per 1001b ; cows, 18s to 22s : stores and dairies without alteration. Some averages of steers were : £9 lGs, £7 17.-, £7 lfis 3d, £7. £0 7s fid ; cows, £7 10 s £fi 15s. £fi ss, £5 8s 9d. Sheep were penned in limit3d numbers at Newmarket, on Tuesday, and were steadily competed for. Wethers in wo >l sold at from I;>< to lGs each: shorn, 12s t > 14s ; ewes. 10s (id to lfis 31 ; lamb 7 s G t, tolls 3d. Pigs, scarce, sold at from 8s to 30i each, 3J per lb hvo weight.
