The directors, including M. De Li-sseps have been summoned, to appear before tlio Court on Thursday. Xovember 22. M. Delahayo having accused I.JO uniianied members of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of corruption in connection with the Panama Caral, tho Premier has agive 1 to appoint a committee in inquire into the matter. The charges of M. Delahayc led to scandalous scenes in tho Chamber. The Count do Lossops professes ignorance of the proposed trial of the Panama Canal directors. His relatives fenr that if lie is placed on trial the shock will have a serious affect on him. Xovember 22. The summonses issued against the Directors of the Panama Canal Company charge M. M. Ferdinand and Charles iVLcsseps, Eiffel, Fontauaand Cotter with fraudulently inducing tho public to believe in the feasibility of a purely commercial scheme with the intent of swindling. The trial of accused is fixed for January.
