Notices. TE T F 0 R D , j Bay horse, by Musket, (lam Pungawerewere. This Stallion, now leased by Mr J. S. Buckland, will lie at the service of breeders in the Waikato District for tlie season. Brown with a blaze, with ex cellent legs, and as sound as a bell, a good racehorse over all distances, and as game as a pebbie. Such may be taken by owners having mares likely to produce . o-ood hunters or useful harness horses as , a fair description ; in addition to which, in conformation, contour, substance, and power, he is second to no horse south of the line, and is one most likely to leave splendid progeny, inasmuch as his full _ brother Brigadier has thrown a " galloper " from all clnsses of mares, anil - Tranter another full brother, has obtained the first prize in Victoria, as a sire likely to produce the desire, Mr Buckland fancies, will be obtained by Waikato farmers submitting their marcs to Tet- ' ford. It is needless to mention that Crackshot, winner of the Auckland Cup in ( the fastest time on record, is a half brother to Tetford ; also, that Tetford himself won not only the Wanganni Cup in ISS6, of oOOsovs., but was one of the , fasteat horses ever bred at Wellington Parx by Mr Thomas Morriu. As a three-year-old, he won three races out of six starts, being placed on each occasion. As a four year - old, ho wmi the Wangauui Cup, two miles and a distance, in 3min. 57 l-sth see., beatiug the flower of New Zealand. At the same meeting, also the Wanganni Stakes, li miles, of £150, in 2min. 44-sc.c. with the thumping weight of Ost on his back—truly a great record. As a six-year-old, Tetford, with Sat 101b on his back, won the Victoria Handicap of 100 s,ovs. at the A.R.C. Summer Meeting, beating Antelope, Balista, Friendship, and Bangle, including some of the best horses in New Zealand, thus proving himself one of the fastest and best weight-car-riers ever bred. Breeders must recollect that this horse has gone through a severe ordeal, viz., racing from a two-year-old to a six-year-old, and leaving the track for stud duties as sound as the day he was foaled is the correct horse and one most likely to get sound, serviceable stock. j*q"EW ZEALAND jQIAMOND QLIPPER pLOUGH, MADE OF IRON AND THE USING PAETS OF SUPERIOR TEMPERED STEEL, BY j ELDER BROTHERS, Newmarket, Auckland ' JUBILEE SULKY GANG PLOUGH.
