In the Spring of 1880 he carried off the C. J.C. Handicap, Canterbury Cup, and Christehurch Plate. He also took the Champion Prize for thoroughbred stallions at the Otago A. and P. Society's Show of last year, beating Bundoora, the winner of the Canterbury A and P. Champion Prize.
