THE CODLIN MOTH BILL.

«, At the close of the last meeting of the Waikato Farmers' Club, Messrs Jno. Sharp and Hugh Ferguson referred to the above Bill and denounced it in no measured terms. Mr Sharp said if the Bill had passed it would have ruined the country, and both he and Mr Ferguson denounced the manner in which a few individuals had taken the matter up without consulting the practical men. They thought the question should have been brought up at the Farmers Club before legislation was attempted. Both gentlemen were very bitter in their remarks, and promi«ed the Codlin Mothistsa warm time if the Bill is introduced again.
