When 011 tiie turf Raglan proved himself a thorough honest horse and first-class stayer, able to last to the end of a Cup race, carrying weight and defeating the best horses in Auckland. In sprint races he showed his pace by beating performers like TeUsum (who won races against the best horses in Australia), Cissy, ami others. As it will be seen, Raglan is a suitable horse to breed from to get racehorses and fast cross-country stock ; and if put to roomy active mares, to get weightcarrying hacks aud active harness horses.
