The third sulject was " Is marriage a failure?l This question was treated in a serious manner, and the result of the discussion was that "real marriage'' is not a failure, but that marriage de convenance and all like ill-assorted matrimonial arrangements are utter failure?. The I'residenl gave the young people some very good advice as to the folly of flirting, coquetting, " mashing.'' etc., which we trust they will take to heart. The next meeting will be the concluding one of this session and will be devoted to readings and recitations.
