THE WIN TON MURDER.

(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'). Invkrcaugill, Thursday. The police have returned from the Hokonui district, it is believed, without discovering anything conclusive regarding the murder of Richard Rell, or thn owner of the gun found at the fatal spot. It is said the settlers in the district show no desire to assist the police in the enquiries. John Mcßae, the man accused of murder, will be brought up to-morrow at the Police Court, but will probably be remanded without, evidence being given.
