The weather was all that could be desired, and the firms at some oE the ranges was very good. The ® conditions were five shots at 200, 300, 400 * and 500 yards; the highest scorer at the '• 200, 400 and 500 yards to be the winner of the bait, and at 200, 300 and 500 yards of e the medil. Lieutenant Kirk, who tired 0 well at all the ranges, secured bcth trophies, ir beating Vol. Hobbs (whose grand aggror gate, however, was oue more than the lieutenant's) by four points for the belt and by three for the medal. Vol. Hobb* losi 18 ground at the 500 yards range, and through 113 this he Wris unable to secure either of the y prizes. At the conclusion of the match 3 three cheers were given for the winner, and ® one for the runner up. The following are the scores of those who scpred twenty points and over for both trophies : — '?
