The quantity of really prime wheat available is uiit so heavy, and may therefore continue to command prices lately ruling. Quotation for prime milliner velvet, rod straw.and Tuscan, 3s Gd to 3s •Sd—extra prime a shade more on occasions ; good to best, 3s Id to 3s 3d.—Oats : Tho market although firm lit last week's quotations, has not further improved to any appreciable extent, and b-yond the disposal of a few lots suitable for milling and an occasional lot for shipment the business passing is limited. A fair demand is experienced for export, but until there is a corresponding rise in the Australian markets shippers are not in a position to operate to any extent at the prices now demanded here. There are very few now coming forward, and, stocks in store getting within a very small compass, piesunt rates are not iikely to recede. We quote prime milling, Is 10d to Is lid ; best short bright feed, Is 9d to Is lOd.—Potatotfs : There is no improvement in the business done in thou',. Dent Dertvent in small quantities fetch 30=i to 35s ; others, 17s (id t" 27s 6d per ton (sacks weighed in). —Dairy Produce : The demand for prime salt butter has all of a sudden subsided. Sales now can only bt; effected at a drop of 3d to 4d ])tu- lb in prices ruling lately. The supply of fresh is slightly increasing, prices for this also receding. The cheese market does not si'cm to improve. Factory-made, medium size, is held for 3d ; loaf shape, s|d ; dairymade in full supply at from 3d to 4d per Hi.—Flax : The local market is at a standstill, and until further on in the season very little business will be done. The market at Home does not show any signs of hardening. Our telegram from London this week reports the market dull and irregular. Medium is worth £1310s per ton,
