MR DIBBS' MISSION.

The Cabinet desire him to return via the Suez Canal, but Mr Dibbs adheres to his first intention of going back by way of Canada.

He has informed his Cabinet in cypher what hopes there are of obtaining a cessation of convictism in New Caledonia from the French Go* vernment.

It is understood that some members of the Eoyal Family are moving to obtain a high honour for Mr Dibbs.
