TUHIKARAMEA ROAD BOARD.
At a meeting of the Tuhikaramea Road Board on Saturday f)tli hist., there wore present : Messrs Williamson (Chairman), O. B. Vickers, F. J. Vickora, Davys, and Noniiiiii. In the matter of the circular from the Agricultural Department re small birds, it iku resolved to bike the same action as thoWaipa County Do.nain Board had dune. This Board resolved to strike a rato of ; "d in the £so soon as the valuation rolls are received from the Land and Income Tax Department. Mr E. deC. Drory was appointed cltrk to tho Board, and he was intriicttjd to send the necessary notices to Messrs Jones, and H.idfield to clear thn furze from the roadway fronting their properties. The clerk was also instructed to call for tenders for dray work on the roads. Two or three Recounts were passed f'ir payment and this closed the business of the meeting.
