KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.

Tke usual monthly meeting of the above Board was held in the Wailcuto County Council Ohiimbars, Hamilton East, on Friday. Present: Messrs A. Primrose (chairman), T. H. White and R. Gillett. RtiAD-OLOSING.—A meeting of ratepayers will be held on Friday, July 22nd, at 1.30 p.m., re the stopping of a road at Claudelands. Filling in a Pit.—The Claudelands Syndicate are to be notified to (ill in the gravel-pit in front of their property, under the supervision of Mr Gillett. Riveusidk Road.—The: chairman was authorised to put a man on this road for three days. The surfaceman is also to devote some attention to this road. Thiiiiw.—Mr White was instructed to propose a scheme for the spending of £5 7s 7d, the proceeds of thirds on property ot Ngaroawahia. Finance.—The Board's account at the bank is £20 13s in credit. Mokk Red Tapk.—ln former years the Government were content with an extract from the minutes and a s:.at'.iinent of rates collected before paying the subsidy ; but they now require that a statutory declaration be made by the chairman Of the local , body with the affixing of a half-crown stamp.
