R.M. COURT, TE AWANUTU.
Tuesday.—(Before J. G. Elmsly, Esq, J.P.) Waraki Kapu, an aboriginal native residing at the Wuotnu (who was arrested last night by Constable Lowther) was charged this morning with stealing a horse, the property of Mr James Fnrrell, of Kihikihi, storekeeper. Constable Jones applied for a remand till Saturday 18th, at 10 o'clock. Upon the application of Mr Gresham, who appeared far the defence, tho accused was liberated on bail himself and one surety in £100 each.
