THE SILVER QUESTION
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT). Washington, June 2. Sexatoh Stiermax states that the effect of the purchase of silver bullion by the Government has been to lower tlie price. The measure is a complete failure, and if the price of silver continues to decline, he will vote for a repeal of the Act. June 3. The Senate has postponed voting on tlio Silver Biil until the 11th inst.
