KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.
♦ Thk usual monthly meeting of the above Board was held in the Waikato County Council Chambers yesterday. There were present; Messrs Primrose (chairman), White, Gillett, McLean and Coates. GBAVKL-rrf. —Messrs Coates and Gillett were instructed to make arrangements to close the gravel-pit near the tramway road, wliiuh was becoming dangerous, Road FoumaTlON.—Messrs Pilling and Hunt wrote asking that the road leading up to their places be formed.—The matter whs left in the hands of the chairman. Draining.—Mr McLean was empowered to carry out the draining on the road near Netherby, at 4s 9d per chain, the distance not to exceed a mile. Badokr. —Mr Badger offered six copies of the Local Government Statutes, tor £3 10s.—Letter received. Willis' Buidub. —Willis'bridge is to be replaced by nine-inch pipes. Fubzk.—Mr Gillett was instructed to Ret the furze cleared off Lot 214. Ratk. —The rate has been resolved upon as iu thn f. PAYMKXT.S. —The following accounts were passed for payment, viz : —Edmonds, £1 12s (Jd ; Johnson, £G 15s; Kiely, £5 4s 2d ; clerk, kit os commission on rates : G. Reid, 11s 3d; B. White, 8s sd; Bennett, £2 17s Cd ; petty cash, 11s 3d.
