Baegott, Receiver of Lund 1 Revanuc, arising out of alleged irregulari- : ties in the Lund Department, alleges that tliev at divers times in the years 1557-! So■ 80-00-91, at Wellington, unlawfully, fraudulently, and wickedly did conspire, com- ! bine, confederate, and agree together b> cheat and defraud Her Mnjesty the ( L >'ieen of divers large sums of money, bankers' cheques, and other valuable securities, which should thereafter be received and ' taken into possession for and on account of . Her Majesty by the said GeorgeJJr.S r . Baggut f , as Receiver of Land Revenue at Wel- ' lingtoii, by unlawfully embezzling, appropriating?, and omveiting t'i tli"ir own use divers sums of money, bankers' cheques, and other valuable .securities, which should be .so received as afor.i.vtiil by thy said George N. Baggott as such Receiver of Lind Revenue as aforesaid, being then and thore employed in the public service of H«r Majesty, and that in pursuance of the said conspiracy, combination, confederation and agreement the slid J. B, Whyte and Georgts N.
