At the Licensing Court to-day the Bench intimated their intention to adhere to tlio 1.0 o'clock closing, and notified that the licenses fur the Pacific and Provincial Hotels would be cancelled. Tho R«v. Thomas Adams, Presbyterian miiiUthT, died ta-il iy from consumption. At a nmetitiß held in the Y.M.O.A. rooms this afternoon, at which tho Rev. J. Berry presided, it was decided to form an association to move Parlimnent to gr.mt an exten.-ion of th« franchise to women.
