BOARD OF REVIEWERS.

The Board of Reviewers, Messrs J. J. Barngh (Chairman), R. Rathborne and J. B. Teasdale, sat at the Cambridge Courthouse yesterday, to hear objections as to the valuations in the County of Waipa nnd the Borough of Cambridge. Mr \V. Duncan, represented the Department, and Messrs Fitzgerald, *Jones, Maunder and Gwynneth, assessors of the various districts present. Mr R. W. Dyer of , wffllpiton, appeared on behalf of Messrs |l|licson and Russell, of Auckland and Mr of Frankton. The following were cne cases dealt with : JIANGAPIKO DISTINCT. John M. Knppner, Goodfellow Bros., Daniel Croniu, Sophia Thorr.ton—No appearance; valuation sustained. Russell and Jackson—Valuation, £25, reduced to £20. KANGIAOHIA DISTHICT. Joseph C. Holmore and Wilding OgleNo appearance ; valuation sustained. TK AWAMUTU TOWN. W. J. Taylor—No appearance; valuation sustained. H. and J. Goodfellow —Reduced from £42S to £'278. KIHIKIHI TOWN. Jackson and Russell—Reduced from £40 to £30, one of the sections being proved not to belong to them. PUKEKUEA DISTRICT. In this district only one alteration was made —viz., R. T. Douglas to Bank of New South Wales. NKWCASTLB DIHTHICT. Archibald Ferguson, T. W. Crowley, C. E. Alexander, E. F. Tole, Jackson and Russell, W. Buchanan, Geo. Edgecumbe, T. Rothwoll. P. Corboy, and E. Keesing.— Objections all sustained. E. C. Shepherd—Reduced from £200 to £150. S. Jackson—Reduced from £100 to £75. Jackson and Russell—Reduced from £50 to £37 10s F. B. Jolly-Reduced from £4IIG to £350. S. E. Hughes—Reduced from £1430 to £948 ; same—reduced from £648 to £548. NGARUAWAHIA TOWN WSTKICT. Bank of New Zealand Estates Company, W. Buchanan, R. Keesing, E. Bull, D, Nathan, W. Paddy—All sustained. Section GOl altered from Estates Company to Fanny Black, HAMILTON HIDING. P. O'Brien, H. Steele, Edward Exelby, Samuel Thompson, T. Hunt, Geo. May, J. W. Wrigley, Chas. Hibbs, M. D. Knox, T. W. Cro.vley—All sustained. Williamson Bros.—Reduced from £6972 to £5976. Jas. Russell—Reduced from £555 to £500. Thos. Jolly—Reduced from £1200 to £1128; same, from £326 to £250: same, from £290 to £200; same, from £150 to £100; same, from £1282 tu £1020; same, from £150 to £100.
