The result of the division on the second reading of the Irish Local Government Bill is encouraging Ministers to push the Bill through, and the general election may possibly be delayed till it has passed. London, May 26, The Provincial Tories are pressing ministers to proceed with the Irish Local Government Bill, but the Cabinet are undecided in the matter, a section of the members preferring to appeal to the country under the eclat of Tuesday's division on the Bill.
