If« said ho had heen chairman many years and that although he had on several occasions attempted to ftet other members to occupy the position he had failed. There were Messrs Foxa-ll and Corbett, who had all the ability and other qualifications necessary to iiiake a pood chairman. Hβ thereforn had much pleasure in proposing that Mr Foxall bo chairman for the year.—Messrs Foxall and Oorbett having declined to accept the pi sition, finally, on the motion of Mr Foxall, seconded by Mr Blackett, Mr Corboy was re-appointed} chairman for the year.—The ininute.s of tho annual meeting of the Board were then read and confirmed.—The clerk was instructed to furnish Mr Saulbery with an account of expenses of closing a road, with the value of the land and fee for valuator, and to inform him that on payment of the balance due, the Board would complete the transfer of the land to him.— The clerk was directed to sue fur outstanding ratea after the 18th instant. —The Board decided to relinquish all claim or right they might have to a road through Bomfrey'a swamp.—A small account was passed for payment when the Board dis-
