HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.

The usual monthly meeting of the above Board was hold on Tuesday evening There were present : Messrs Coates, (chairman), Bell, H. M. Salmon and Wood. Pahk Reserve.—Mr W. Cnssan wrote stating that he would not require this property any longer, and it was decided to reenter on the reserve when Mr Cussen has paid up the arrears of rent. Improvement Clauses.— It was decided to grant to Messrs W. Cussen, Peterson and Bowen the insertion of the improvement clause in their leases. Svonby Square.—The Chairman reported that he had granted the Queens Birthday Sports Committee the rifiht to charge au entrance fee of Is for all persons over 12 years of age to Sydney Square on the 24th inst -The action of the chairman was approved.—lt was decided to give the Sports Committee half of the proceeds of the pavilion, the Committee to collect the money and defray cost of advertising. Accounts. —Payment of an account to J. Wright for£l is was authorised. G\llo\vay Strum.' Reserve. —Mr Bell moved that tenders be culled for grubbing and clearing the furze and briar in this reserve, to be in at next meeting.—Seconded by Mr Salmon and carried. Treks.—A Hamilton resident wrote ottering to supply sufficient fencing material and trees to plant six clumps of trees m the Park reserve, if the Board would erect the fence and plant the trees. Tho offer was accepted with thanks, the work of planting and erecting the fence to he carried out under the supervision of the chairman and foreman of works. Leases.—The Chairman, and Messrs Bull, and Scott were appointed to report at pho ne?ct meeting of the Bnard as to tho various leasos held from the Board. SvnxKr Squarb Improvement.—lt was resolved that tho Waikato Cricket Association and kindred instiutions be allowed to plough up and lay down in grass such portion of Sydney Square as is contained within tho outside boundary of the ring ; the work to be carried out under the supervision of tho chairman and Mr Pell.
