THE DURHAM MINERS.
(BY KI.KCTBIC TRLKORAPH.— OOPYMQHT). London, April 15. The Durham colliery owners aro in favour of continuing the lock-out. The millers of West Scotland have given notice of a ten to sixteen per cent reduction in wages. April IG. The Durham miners have again resolved to continue on strike. Paris, Aprill9. The greatest collective effort yet attempted in favour of the eight hours, will be made on May Ist. All sections of Socialists and of the labour democracy will assist. The programme is the adoption of the eight hours, and fixing the minimum rate of wages, the execution of municipal and State works by workmen's societies, _ improvements as regards the sanitary condition of faatories and mines, and the maintenance of international peace.
