CHRISTCHURCH LIVE STOCK MARKETS. THE New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report under date : — Christchukch, March 18.—Store Sheep : An entry of 5000 of all descriptions constituted the day's supply. Amongst the sales made were :— Cross-bred lambs 8s to !)s lid, four, six and eight-tooth cross-bred ewe 3, 13s Bd, aged ewes Gs Gd to 8s 9d, merino ewes 3s lid to 5s 3(1 and merino wethers 5s Gd. —Fat Lambs : Judging from Wednesday's supply, sellers are beginning to recognise that tho demand for fat lambs does not return a value to bear favourable comparison with prices ruling in tho store pens.
