AMY VAUGHAN COMPANY.
Miss Ami Vaughan and her talented company jrnve an entertainment in the Public Hall. Hamilton, last night and notwithstanding the short notice they were greeted with a fairly good house. " Little Bill and liis ship," was the burlesque staged on this occasion, and the change from the ordinary run of entertainments provided tor the provinces seemed to take immensely with the audience. Unfortunately, the stage accommodation was too limited to make use of the moat effective portions of the scenery, but notwithstanding this drawback eterything went off capitally, the younger portion of the audience being particularly demonstrative in evincing their appreciation of the more comic characters in the piece. We bulieva it is the intention of this talented company to return to the Waikato district in the course of a few weeks and we feel eafe in predicting that a successful tour uwaits them.
