ANGLO-INDIAN SETILEMENTS.

Mr Christie, an Indian engineer, is visiting the oniony to ascertain what inducement there would be for an AngloItiflian settlement, and on his return to India steps will be taken to form an association to carry out the scheme. A local board of advice has been appointed to assist him.
