Birthday Pamt. —At the invitation of Mrs Aubin, a large party assembled at her residence on Saturday evening last, the occasion being to celebrate the coining of age of her second son, Mr 0. A. Aubin. A very pleasant evening was spent, the ynung people enjoying themselves in various amusements, charades, dancing, songs, etc. At ten o'clock refreshments wore served in the dining room including of course a real oldfashioned birthday cake. Mr Chappell proposed the toast of health and prosperity to Mr Aubin on his arriving at maturity, and hoping that now he had by law become responsible for his own actions, etc., he would from henceforth enjoy health, happiness and prosperity. Mr Aubin feelingly responded. The health of "Our Hostess, Mrs Aubiiv' was proposed by Mr Cruiclcshfink in most felicitous terms, and meiwith a most cordial greeting by aU present. Mrs Aubin briefly responded. Other toa'U followed, and amusements until 12 o'clock the compay singing "Auld Lang Syne " most enthusiastically and departed for their several homes.
