PERMANENT PASTURE AND THE BEST MANURE TO USE.
I'he chief topics of conversation between our farmers just now are, grain seeds and the best manure for laying down permanent pasture. We are not now therefore out of place in drawing special attention to an advertisement which appears in our columns of this issue, which treats upon one_ (the latter) of these all-important subjects. Messrs Kempthorne, Prosser and Co. announce that the special grass manure, manufactured at their Westfield works, is a superior one, containing those ingredients required to produce vigorous growth from the start,; also a listing power for years. All the various kinds of manures turned out by this firm for the past two or three years have given such excellent results throughout the Waikato and elsewhere, that we feel every onfidenco in recommending this special grain manure, and have no doubt that it is as good and as lasting, and will give as good results as all Westfield manures have hitherto given.
