GREAT LOSS OF LIFE. [BY ELECTRIC TELKGUA I'll cor villi! ht]. Calcutta, March 31. TiiiiKEQiJAitTEits of the city of 7\F.<'i dalay, capital of Upper Burinah, has been burnt to the ground. Thn fire was accompanied by great loss of life. Among the buildings destroyed are the new telegraph ollice and the old palace. The iirc did damage to the extent of five lacs of rupees. Later. The fire at Mandalay is still burning.
