PICTURESQUE ATLAS COMPANY.

The evidence in the case Bnwerman Bros, v. John Bettley, claim, £9 10s for Picturesque Atlases supplied, was concluded in the R.M. Court, Hamilton, on Thursday. Mr Geo. Edgecumbe was called to give evidence as to the signature on the patron list and on the order form, and expressed his opinion that they had been written by the same individual. The defendant gave evidence denying that the signatures were his, and also stating that he had never signed for more than 12 numbers. The Magistrate reserved his decision until next Court day.
