KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meetins: of the above body was held iu the Waikato County Council chambers yesterday. Present : Messrs Primrosu (chairman), T. H, White and I. Coates. Balanck, Eto. —The Clerk reported the credit balance at the bauk as £272 4s 2d, and the amount of rates due at present, £13713s sd. Cleaning.—On Mr White'* motion, it was resolved to rescind the resolution passed at the last meeting re the cleaning of the Taupiri bridge, and to call for fresh tenders. RlVßit Road.—The Clerk was instructed to find out who had been taking material from the River Road, and to take steps to prevent any more being taken. Gbavkl Pits.—lt was resolved to offer Mr Claude £15 per acre for two acres of his land, to be used as gravel pits. NniBANOK. —The Clerk renorted that a horae belonging to Mr W. H. Kelly had been bogged in the Tamahere Creek nt Hintnn'a Gully, and had been drowned. It had drifted away from there, and \va< now caught on a stump in the creek near Capt. McPherson's property, and was a public nuisance. The Clerk snid he had written to Mr Kelly and Constable Murray about the matter, but had received no replies. Accounts. —The foljowing accounts were passed for payment, viz., Johnson, £7 4s ; Kieley, £5 4s 2d; Mellars, £1 4s ; Dey, 2s 3d ; clerk, £7 10s ; collector's commiasion on rates, £5 7a 91.
