SUTTONS' WHITE OK DUTCH CLOVER (TrifoKum repensj—Always considered essential in the best pastures ; one of the most important food producers for sheep runs. Reliable quality very scarce. SUTTONS' ALSYKE OR HYBRID CLOVER (TriJ'olium hybrklium)— Produces enormous crops of food under favourable conditions. Often answers admirably where red clover does not succeed well. Flowers of a distinct light pink colour. BUTTONS' COW GRASS (Trifolium pratense perenne)—Very robust habit. Possesses a strong and penetrating root, and has a long and less woolly leaf than red clover. SUTTONS' GIANT HYBRID COW CLOVER (Trtfolituu pratense hybridium gigantcum SuttmiiJ—A valuable clover introduced by Sutton and Sons, a cross between common red clover and cow grass. On good land prows about three feet high, yields a greater weight per acrc than any other clover, and will often succeed on clover sick land. The seed cannot be distinguished from that of red clover, and consequently spurious stocks cannot be detected by sample.
