HAMILTON V. TAUFIItI. The return match between the above clubs was played at Taupiri on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Hamilton, on the Hr.«t innings, by 39 runs, which is exactly the same number of runs by which Taupiri beat Hamilton in their first match. Ihe weather was very unpropitious, rain falling all the morning, and it was late in the day before the game started. Hamilton, winning the toss, took the wickets and before being all disposed of scored 61, of which Browning and Stevens contributed 28 and 11 respectively. liovell took 4 wicketa for G runs. Taupiri in their first innings could only put together 22, of which Fuller made 8. Barton and Fielder bowled well, taking 5 wickets for 11 runs and 4 for 10 respec tively. Hamilton in their second attempt made 62, Browning (20), von Sturmer(l7 /t and Fielder (10) being the only ones to get into double figures'. Taupiri sent in Hall and Cox to bat until time was called, and they made 43, neither being out. During the afternoon tea and cake, etc., were provided by the ladies of Taupiri.
