TUIIIKABAMEA V. WHATAVTIIATA. A KETUItN match between the above teams was played nt Whatawhati on Saturday. Tho 'lay was cool and pleasant, though rather windy. The game started rather la,te in the day, so that little more than one innings each wns played. This gave Tnhikaramea the victory atfain by 35 runs on the first innings. The Wliatawhata team were particularly weak in bowling, and the want of regular practice is always shown at these matches. After the stumps were drawn, the visitors were entertained at tea by the local men, and a general hope was expressed that the recent games between the above clubs might have the elfect of putting some life into Whatawhata cricketers, so that a good team may be got together. The following are the complete score.?:—
