SEATS ON SYDNEY SQUARE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin.— Somo few months back 3 number of seats were placed on Sydney Square, by the Hamilton Sports' Committee, for the convenience of people patronising this popular rescrt. On Saturday last I went over to sae the cricket match and was astonished to tind that there were no seats on the Square. On making enquiries I was told that the seats were stared away in the pavilion. Ido not think the seats were provided to be stored away in the pavilion, nor was the pavilion erected for that purpose. I would like to know if it it by the authority of the Domain Board that these seats were removed as I have not seen any mention of it in your reports of their meetings. Hoping the seats will be replaced this afternoon. —I am, etc., Sport. P S.— It would conduce greatly to the comfort of ladies patronising the pavilion if the resolution of the Domain Boi.rd prohibiting smoking were enforced.
