(BY TELKGHAPH.— OWN COnitESPONDBNT) Auckland, Last Night. The steamer Duke of Westminster is detained in the South and will not reach Auckland before the 20th inst. and cannot receive cargo before Monduy the 22nd. The Loan and Mercantile Company recommend fruit growers to ship by the Tainui, due in London about the second week in April, kofore the Tasmanian fruit reaches the market. To catch tho Tainui at Wellington, fruit should reach Auckland not later than Thursday 25th February, and aa there are large demands upon the cool storage space in the South early applications will be necessary to ensure the certainty of the shipment from Auckland.
