Miirshnll referrod to the unemployed, and said the country should provide bri'.'id or work for their large body. The unemployed who were present enthusiastically cheered the sermon. Dr. Bohan announced that he would address the unemployed in tlie afternoon, but on reaching the place of meeting he found a socialist flag, and he took his departure after expressing sympathy with the men. The Trades and Labour Council has passed a resolution to the effect that it is desirable that Parliament be urged to provide relief works for the unemployed.
