WOOL SALES.
(BY TELKGKAI'K -own correspondent.) Aucicland, List Niiflit. The third and last of the scries of wool sales was libld to-day. Messrs Hunter and Nolan report having disposed of about 150 bales. Mr A. Biickland s. Id abont2lo bales. Southern buyers were present, and competition being keen, prices realised were fully up to those obtained at the previous sales. Messrs Binney and Son and tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company also quitted a large quantity at good rates. (by electric telegraph.—copyright). Melbourne, January 27. At the wool sales 13,500 bales were catalogued. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and good competition for the best qualities. The prices of crossbred wool remains unchanged, while for Merino they are from pat to .0 per cent. below the ruling prices at tho December nerio.s. London, January 2l>. The total arrivals of wool up to date amount to 3i)Il,000 balc».
