CRICKET.

TUIIIKAKAJIEA V. HAMILTON. Ok Saturday, the Hamilton Cricket Club journeyed to Tuhikaramea, to play the local cricket club, and after a good game won the match by an innings and 13 runs. The Tuhikaramea captain won the toss and sent Hamilton to the wickets. Browning who went in with Fielder, made top score with 81, «nd carried his bat through the innings, without giving a chance. His score included a boundary hit tor six which was lifted right over the fence. Peacock played well for his nine. The Tuhikaramea men made 46 in their first innings, S. Reid contributing IS, and A. Livingston seven. Being more than (JO run:) behind, the home t-atn followed on and in their attempt put up 55 runs of which W. Livingston scored 17 and Lang 15, the visitors winning as above. For Hamilton O'Gara and Fielder bowled well in the first innings securing five each, for 25 anil 15 runs respectively the former performing the "hat trick." In the second innings, OjGara secured three wickets for 33 runs.. Fielder two for nine and Barton five for nine. I 1 or Tuhikaramea Marsdon secured five wickets for 50, Reid 0 for 30 ; C. Drabble three for 14 and McMicken one for 14. The visitors were entertained on the grouni with luncheon, and during the progress of the game a number of ladies were present.
