A gold nugget, weighing 106 pounds, was found in one of the Transylv.inian gold mines.
Immense damage was done in the Andaman Islands by a recent cyclone. The tornado broke with terrific force over the Indian penal settlement, and reduced many of the buildings to ruins. Sixty convicts were killed and 200 injured by the fulling buildings.
