The damage is estimated at WOII.OIH). The lire caused considerable injury to the Midland railway station and the permanent way of the Northwestern line.
An immense fire i.s raging at Seth Taylor's Hour mills in Tooley-street. Five blocks and eight floors have already been destroyed. While making for the scene of the fire, several firemen narrowly escaped being drowned in the Thames.
