Three hundred and twenty-nine cases are reported on the warships at Malta. Seventy deaths from influenza have occurred in Paris. Mr S. D. Waddy, M.P. for Brigg. is seriously ill. January 12. The Duke of Clarence's illness pursues a somewhat severo course. An official bulletin announces that the sufferer's streugth is well iniiiutaiued, but his condition has not improved. Sir Francis Knollys, private secretary to the Prince of Wales, two of the prince's equerries, and several other members of his household are prostrated by the influenza. Lord and Lady Brooks and many of the aristocracy are suffering from influenza, and three hundred of the Grenadier Guards are laid low by it. News from the Continent states that in the Hospitals in Munich yesterday 112 persons died of influenza. Half of *he population of Dunkirk are suffering from the malidy, which is increasing in severity in Berlin and Vienna. The stock of coffins in Copenhagen is exhausted. Lateu. A bulletin issued this evening states there is no marked change iu the con* ditibn of the Duke of Clarence, though he is somewhat better. Cairo, January 11. The Khedive's widow and eldest daughter are both suffering from influenza. Home, January 11. On Friday 84 deaths were reported in Kome from influenza, 99 in Milan, and 66 in Turin.
