SPORTING.
RAGLAN JOCKEY CLUB MEETING. The weather being very finealarao number assembled to witness the races which this year were held for the first time at Oketo, on the property of Mr Langley, the course though small had been got into good order, and next year can be much enlarged. Good order prevailed throughout the day and the races were a decided success. Tho members of the club and the committee having spared no pnins t-i tna'ke them so. Both the temperance and the publican booths did a guod business, the former having a good run of customers. The purchaser of the gates did well too, nearly 200 passing through. The following are the results:— Handicap Hurdle Kace, of lO.sova. Distance, 2 miles. Dick Hunt 1 Bob 2 Maidkn Race, of usovs. Distance, 1 mile. Recall 1 Pin 2 Raglan Cup Handicap, of lOsovj.
