ROMANTIC SUCIDE.

Dr."Macdonald, M.1. , ., hold an inquiry on Thursday at tho Prinze of Wales, Wood-irrfou, respecting the death of Rosalie Wilhelmina Sauudcrn, nged 19, a City merchant's daughter, lately residing at, 41, Park avenue, Wood-green, who committed suicide bv shooting herself with a revolver on Monday October 5, under romantic circumstances. Matilda Maria Saunders, tho wife of the City merchant deposed that deceased was her daughter. "She was au excitable, cheerful lively good girl in every way." She was lively on Monday morning and had her breakfast downßtairs. Sho then said, "will you kiss mamma ?" The witness eaid, " when you kiss Mr Cuthbcrt 1 will kiss you and love you more than ever." The Coroner: Was Mr Cuthbeit a discarded lover P The witnpss : No. The Coroner: She had another lover ? The witness : No. Tho Coroner. It was only an infatuati'm. Continuing, she said Mr Cuthbert was coming to the house that evening . Witness went into the drawingroom and sang "Dear Heart" a song ebe used to sing to Mr Cuthbert. Witness wont out to do some shopping, and on her return she was informed that the deceased had gone to lie down, That was nothing unusual. About twelve o'clock witness wanted herluuch, and sho sent a little boy up after her daughter. He came down and said that the deceased's room door was locked. She then sent a servant up to see what the deceased would like upstairs. She thought the deceased was playing with her as she did not answer the servant, and went away till half-past two. Witness began to feet uncomfin-tablo, and called a neighbour. A Mr Bowon knocked at the door, but as he could get no answer he burst the door open and found tho girl was dead, A servant was in tho house all the day as well as a gentleman and a boy. They did not honr any noise. Another witness, who said she wan in tho secret of tho love affairs of the decoa«cd, ascribed tho suic.ide to (ho latter bavins beou ordered to discontinue her acquaintance with the young man with whom sho hud become infatuated. The following hitter written by tho deceased, was put in:—"Doar Mamma, — It is all your fault. You know I love Mr Casingrcy twenty million times more than Mr Cuthbert, yet you wish to force mo to marry tho latter. I hope you will lire to regret.—Youw, Ri.sik." TV , jury returned a verdict of "Suicide while in a state of temporary insanity."
