Last night the visitors were entertaiued at a smoke concert at the ILuniU'in Hotel, there being also a nuinbei of other guests present. Mr T. G. Sandes occupied the chair and Mr W. Gardner the vice-chair. During the evening a number of toasts were honoured amongst them being "The Auckland Team," "The Wa.ikato Cricket Team,' , "Tho Umpires and Scorers,'' "The Press," and "The Hostess," Songs and recitations were given at intervals, amongst tho.se who favoured the company being Messrs Allen, Ohlsen, Hill, Evans, Sandes, Pilling, C. Knox, and ])r. Kenny. Shortly after 11 o'clock the gathering broke up, the vis ; t>rs expressing themselves in no measured terms as to the kindness with which they had been treated during their stay. The majority of the team will leave for Auckland to-diy, but several will proceed to Te Aroha. returning to town on Monday,
