HAMILTON LIGHT INFANTRY.
Ybsteiidav the members nf the above company fired their annual competition for the following trophies :—Hamilton Bait, the N.Z.C. Co.'a Cup, the Harker medal, and a handsome gold medal presented by Mr Howden. There was a large muster on the range, 28 moniheis taking part in the com. petition, Captain Keid being in charge of the range. Tho weather w.ii tint favourable for good shooting, a wind blowing at intervals throughout thn The ranees fired over were 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards, five allots at each range ; the highest aggregate scorer at 200, 300 and -100 yards t<. be the winner of the cup : at 200 and 400 yards of Harker's medal; at 200, 400 and 500 var'ls of Howden'a medal. Sergt. Alexander succeeded in appropriating all the trophies. The following are the ten highest scorers
