Cunningham, £17 ; three unbroken three-year-old colts and fillies by lorom re; from W. M. Douglas, wcro passed n* £14, tho money wanted being t'l7 each ; two four-year old fillies from same breeder made £21 10h each, one of them by Ingomar and tht other hy Stonewall Jackson. The latter is one of tho nicest actioned mnres I have ever noen and will be heard of attain in tho show yard. A very nice three-year-old colt, by Ingomar from same breeder was passed in at tlO, £18 being the reserve. A grand four-year-old unbroken colt by f'tilderoy trurn Mr Robert Noble, of Kaniwhaniwhn, made £31. This colt was admired very much; a three-year-old filly by Cap-a-pie half sister to Nora, from C. .f. Storey mule £23, and a four year-old colt bv Ingoinar from same seller made £18, both unbroken; draught mares and geldings with trials made from £10 to £1S; for medium, £18 to £23; for heavy, light harness, £8 to £14. Taken all through bidding was slow and sale dragged very much at times, although prices were good and a largo proportion of the horses offered were sold. AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKETS Messrs Alfred Bdckland and Sons' Weekly Report.—At the Haymarket during the pa3t week the sales of fodder have been nominal. Maize arrives steadily; prices without alteration, on wharf, Is lid: atore, 2s the bushel. The demand for sheep dip and wool bales continues brisk. On Friday horse stock in full numbers fairly kept late values, although the heavy draught were slower of sale. Hacks and active medium draught were in brisk enquiry. Heavy farm mares, about eight years old, brought £15; active medium draught, £12 to £16 ; useful hacks, seven to twelve guineas each. Consequent on the wool sales tho usual hide and skin sale was not held on Tuesday. At the wool sale on Wednesday there was a full attendance of buyers, with brisk bidding. Longwools and crosabredg advanced in price about halfpenny, but merinos were lower, near one penny the lb. At Pukekohe on Monday an unusually large muster of cattle of all classes, about 350 head sold, met with a brisk sale at satisfactory prices. At Reinuora on Thursday dairy cows, in less than usual number kept their values; prices ranged from £3 to £6 10s each ; store cattle in moderate number, sold at extreme values, particularly young well-bred steers, 18 months old brought £2 15s each. Fat calves in less than average supply, were at late values; good calves ranged from 12s to 2os each. Fat cattle in usual number, were lower in price, although oOsteers were withdrawn ; prices for steers were at 16s to 17s,cows,lls to 14s the 1001b—205 hear] sold. Sheep in less than usual number, 5(>7 sold, were at late values; shorn werhers, from 10s b'd to 15s 3d ; ewes, 8s Od to 13s each, lambs abundant, 380 sold, were lower in price, prices ranged from 7s to lis each. Pigs in short supply, were without alteration in values; light weight pigs of fair breeding were from 3d to 3.M tho lb dead weight.

MISSUS H U.VTKII AMI NOLAN'S RKPORT. — Morsa feed, grain, seeds, &c. : Tlier.) has been no noteworthy change in the market. The supply has been ample, and the demand steady at the previous week's quotations. Oats, la 01 to 2s 5d per bushel ; maize, 2i 2d ; br in, £1 to £o :"n per ton ; oaten chaff, £2 Tx to £2 10 per ton. Horses hate continued in steady demand, and quite an average number have been brought forward, and the previous week's values ruled. There was a Rood muster for sale by auction on Friday at the Durham Yard.-;; competition was Rood, and almost without exception lot-i were cleared. We quote : Hacks at from £4 5s to £10 ; light harness horses, £"> os to £12 12s (id; medium draught, £6 7s <>d to £15 10 s. Wool: In consequence of tho tir«t, sale of tho series buing held on Wednesday, the usual Tuesday's sale of hags, as well as hides, skins, etc., was postponed until Friday. Tho number of bales catalogued wis large for the first sale. There was a good attendance of buyers, and spirited bidding. Thero was an improvement in tho staple and general get -up of the wool, and notwithstanding the depression in the London November sales, last year's values were fully maintained. Longwool, in grease, sold at fioirt to to ; crossbred, (i.jd to 8d ; merino, 7,-Jd ti 8d; looks and pieces, 2.j to r> ; |M per lb. Cattle : The demand for store cattle has continued brisk. Dairies and fat beasts were slow of sale, Init thero was no noteworthy alteration in value of any description. November 27. — .Store Sheep : A moderate entry of about 2500 wis penned, including a line or two of useful shorn cross-breds, also a number of small lines of ewes and lambs. The sale wa3 cloudy watched by buyers, who were numerous. Spirited competition met every thing, more especially tho shorn cross-breds and hoggets, and a highly satisfactory clearance was effected on tho following basis Two-tooth oross-hreds, well-grown and in good condition 10s Od to lls'Jd, shorn four and six-tooth wethers, 12s lid and 13s, cross-bred hogget s, 15s od. cross-bred ewes and lamhs in tho wool 17s -Id to lf)s sd. —Fat Lambs ; A full supply of good average quality met good competition from lihe trado, but last week's high rates were barely maintained, and salos ranged from !)s to 12s 3d.— (''at Sheep : About iOOO head represented yesterday's muttou supply, tho entry being principally shorn sheep. With tho exception of some pens of woolly morino wethers, the quality was generally good. Bidding opened fairly briskly, and values were little under last, week's, but as butchers—tho principal buying power— lillod up, competion slackened considerably, and disappointing valuos had to be accepted. Best shorn cross-bred wethers brought 14s t. lt>-<, do ewes 12s to 15s sd.— Fat Cattle : An average supply of about 180 head was ponn d,prime ox beef being in the minority. Lad ling opened very slack, but improved somewhat and finished at abouts last week's rates. Best steers brought t'ti t > £8, cows and heifers £4 to £(). — Store Cattle : Business in this section was on a very small scale, the entry being very small indoed. The demand was, however good and a 1! there was sold well.
