WAIKATO HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
A MEETING of all thoso interested iti horticultural matters who reiide in thu Cumbrideo district, is convened by Mr T. Wells for Thursday next, at 7.30 p.m. The meeting will be hol'l in the Farmers' Clwb room, over M» Wells' and the chief business will bo to decide if the next Waikato Horticultural Show shall be held in Cambridge. The genoral meoting of the Horticultural Society will be held in Hamilton on Wodno*day, therefore it is absolutely necessary that tho Cambridge people decido on Thursday, whether or no the show next S. Patrick's Day shall be held in their town. It is their.s by right, but we are warranted in auyitig that if it is to come to Cambridge next year, all those interested in it must be prepared In lend a hand in the work. It its all very well to work the willing horse but tuo heavy a load will .stop the stauuchest, and wo are afraid the "willing horse' , of the Cambridgo horticultvrahsts is about to jib. We trust the meeting will be a large one and that all will lend a hand, for " many hands make light work."
