The return match betweon the married and sinplo members of the Hamilton Cricket Club will be played on Saturday next on Sydney Square. A meeting of tho Waikato Cricket Association was hold at Hamilton on Saturday evening, when repiesentatives from the Cambridge, Pateranfii, Tuhikuramea and Hamilton Clubs wero present, Mi Lang in the chair. It was resolved to continue the Association, and it is a pleasing fact to note that the Patqranei Club have af»ain joined. Tho Taupiri Club have also joined the Association. Mr C. G. Knox was elected hon. secretary and treasurer, and the following dates for matches were arranged : — Tuhiknniiiieu y. Taupiri, at Whntnwhata on tho 28th inst ; Hamilton v. l'ateruupi, iit Potorangi on the ">th December ; Tuhikarainea v. Cambridge, at Hamilton on tho Oth December : Hamilton v. Cambridge, nt Cambridge on tho 12th December, and Paterangi v. Taupiri, at Hamilton on tho 12th December. Messrs Barton and Cheesman have kindly «iven a ball and bat, respectively, for the best bowlint? auU batting average, each player to play in thron-fourths of tho matches played by his club before being eligible to compete. With regard to the medals in dispute between the Tuhikaramea and Paterangi Clubs, it was resolved that tho Hamilton and Taupiri Clubs be asked to contribute 10s each to the funda and be eligible to pluy for the medals. A vote of thanks to tho chair concluded the meeting.
